Wala daw atrocities nung martial law... talagang di mo makikita...KONTROLADO kasi ni MARCOS lahat ng MEDIA noon....kamag-anak o panyero niya ang mga bosschief sa MEDIA para yung mga PINATAY, NI-RAPE, INAGAWAN NG LUPA at KURAPSYON ma-censor na at hindi mai-report. 
Pero may isang grupo noon na naglakas loob ilabas lahat ng BAHO ng Marcos government...wala pang internet noon, at lahat ay in glorious mono pa…at sa gitna ng intimidation, libel case, at surveillance, sumuong silang mga bylines lang sa madla...ni-label sila ni Macoy na Mosquito Press dahil para sa kanya isang lamok lang sila...maliit, walang magagawa at madali puksain...iyun ang akala niya.
Nai-dokyu na ang kwento ng Mosquito Press…kasama ng iba pang dokyu sa SINE HENERASYON, ipapalabas ito ngayong Sabado sa Bantayog ng mga Bayani Auditorium, EDSA cor Quezon Ave. (1pm, 4pm 7pm)...sana mapanood mo, kasi isa sila sa dahilan kung bakit libre mong nasasabi ang gusto mo sa social media ngayon.

Magnolia Of My Childhood

When you buy Magnolia ice cream, you are reminded of your childhood…those times when a trip to Magnolia House means sharing a peach melba or a banana split with your brother or sister and “hating kapatid” means the older sibling will be getting the biggest portion for having the bigger stomach….when birthdays mean your parents are going to give away cups of ube, vanilla, or chocolate flavors to your classmates while they greet you in unison “happy birthday classmate, praise be Jesus and Mary!” and you feel like a star for a day…when mid-play you stop on the sound of that kuliling and run back to pester your nanay for a pinipig crunch, ice drops or those twin popsicles which you never ever got because they were expensive and for throwing a tantrum you have to fold all the clothes in the aparador…those times when you actually watched a TV ad curious to know the next flavor of the month... or when you saved money to buy a pint of your favorite flavor (mine was Choco Marble) then locked y...

I luv #TipasHopia

#Hopia is a popular merienda or snack in the Philippines. It is similar to the Chinese mooncake, only its outer layers are thin flakes. The fillings could be mung been or monggo, sweet yam or ube. While i also like the hopia monggo of sari sari stores and hopia baboy and flavored hopia in chinatown, I like these Tipas Hopia too. You can get these from bakeries in #Tipas in Taguig. If you are lucky, you'll find a vendor along provincial highways, too! That was how we got ours!
